Salt Dough Tutorial {Total Cuteness}

This is the very first craft that I've made off of pinterest.com. It's a salt dough mold that you can press your child's feet and hands into to make wall hangings or paper weights or whatever else you can think of. :)

I made one for Aubree's nana that looked like her feet were in the shape of a heart. I also made one for me that's just her hand and foot.

The recipe is:
2 cups regular flour
1 cup salt
Add water as you go

Pour salt and flour into a mixing bowl and slowly add water as you stir. When it is all mixed together kneed it until it isnt sticky anymore. (Mine kept getting sticky so I added flour to it). Roll it out to about half and inch thick and press hands and feet into it. Bake at 200 for 2-3 hours or until it's hard.

Mine is still a little soft but it isn't soft enough to fall apart.
This is a great project to do with the kids for their grandparents birthdays or fathers day.
Enjoy :)
